September marks Fruits and Veggies – More Matters Month and it’s great to see that this great initiative is still around 10 years after it launched.
Researchers say that 90% of Americans – this includes both adults and children – do not get the recommended daily amount of fruits or vegetables. We can do better than this! If you only take away two things, take away this: Fill your plate with fruit and veggies every time you have a meal or snack AND all forms count including juices, frozen, canned, dried, etc. You CAN do it!
