Sandy was born in Minnesota, the 6th of 14 children. At 7 years old, being told that her dad, her hero, had two years left to live hoped Sandy to grow up fast. She grew up learning how to survive, be a helper, and find the best in life.
Sandy lived in Minnesota, Missouri, Chicago, Nashville, and is in the process of moving to Arizona to live near her three daughters and her adorable grandchildren, twins Genevieve and Griffin.
Sandy has a heart for the underdog and has a non-profit for the homeless. What does it do? “We love well”, she says. Many times in the form of a meal, clean clothes, a trip to a dentist, a visit, a hug.
Having been born a natural born speaker and coach, Sandy has spent 15+ years as a life coach and motivational speaker; standing on the big stages teaching organizations, businesses, women’s groups and young adults about attitudes, self-compassion, choices, living in the moment, gratitude and the power of humor. Sandy delivers messages of hope and empowerment to a world hungry to feel worthy. Just by being who they are.
She was President of the National Speakers Association for Tennessee, being voted Humanitarian of the Year and Best Speaker. As a publisher author, Sandy has translated these skills into writing. Sandy writings have been published domestically and globally in books, print articles, and blogs.
