My name is Michael Travis, I am a 27 undergraduate at Middle Tennessee State University. I am currently involved with an internship with the MTSU Center for Health and Human Services where I am serving as Program Director for the Tennessee Men’s Health Network located in Knoxville, TN. Having come from a family that faces many health disparities, I have always grown up trying to become healthier than my immediate family in that I hope to live a long a healthy life, like so many of us want to as well. In doing so, it brought me into health as having the opportunity to improve the lives of people by helping them. Having been a coach of boys basketball the past 8 years, I have had a good deal of experience in motivation and getting the best out of a person. I hope that some of the articles included by myself may inspire you to try new things and venture out to seek different methods of maintaining health. Cheers.
